My illustration is about pollution in our oceans. I chose to illustrate this issue by bringing the fairytale magical creature, a mermaid into the situation. I tried to portray the issue by illustrating how she is unthankful (shown in her facial expressions and body language) to what humans have done to her ocean home, leaving her in an irreversible, miserable, ruined environment.
